CAPACITY BUILDING: WAGEDI-GUU TRAINING SCHOOL

The West African Green Economic Development Institute was created with a vision to pursue Nigeria nay West African sustainable development drive, and seeks to promote green economy agenda within the West African sub-region and ultimately become a global player in a green economy development mix.

The Institute was established in Gregory Univeristy Uturu, Abia State, Nigeria in 2017 with Dr Magnus C Onuoha as the Executive Director (Research) and Dr Emeka Okengwu as the Director (External Linkage and Collaboration). The Board was fromally inaugurated under the administration of the Vice-Chancellor of Gregory University uturu Professor A. A Uwakwe.

In accordance to WAGEDI-GUU vision, capacity building opportunity has been opened for interested individuals to utilitze. The flexible training which affords every interested persons to make a choice of module and pay for the selected module only is scheduled to start on the 5th of February as application is currently on-going. This a rewarding opportunity to be maximized.
