This day Thursday 25th Feb 2021 at NICON Luxury Abuja shows that there's light at the end of the tunnel in Nigeria's energy transition drive- the formal launch of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Associations - Alliance( REEEA-A) I Prof Magnus Onuoha (Vice-Chairman Steering Committee, REEEA-A and

President, Sustainable Energy Practitioners Association of Nigeria) is happy to be associated with it.  Alongside Prof Abubakar Sambo Chairman BOT,  Dr. Imamuddeen Talba (Chairman Steering Committee, REEEA-A) and indeed all the associations Presidents: Dr Sunny Akpoyibo, CREN, Segun Adaju REAN, Engr Dada Ayodeji, AEE, Prof Chidi Akujor, RAESON, Dioha Joseph, SESN thank Nigeria Energy Support Programme ( NESP)as represented Federal Ministry of Power, European Union, German Government and GIZ, all the Ministries, Department and Agencies ( MDAs) that attended, the private sector that has shown eagerness in being parts and parcel of mainstreaming RE and EE in Nigeria's sustainable development drive. Also in special way thank the Presidency. It is on record that President Mohammed Buhari is the most climate action compliant President Nigeria ever had. Since 2015 he has attended all climate action Conference of Parties(COP) starting with the landmark Paris Agreement in France and the Sustainable Development Goals in New York all in 2015. In the same vain we thank the Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo for instituting the Renewable Energy Roundtable under his watch. You all will agree with me that the political will being exhibited by the Presidency in the RE and EE has given us the players the cause to rejoice and to put in the best in this transition.  Indeed there light- clean energy at the end of the tunnel for Nigeria.
